The Minister of Information, Communication, Technology, and Postal Services and the government spokesperson Micheal Makuei Lueth has disproved the arrest of the Interior Minister Angelin Teny.

Recent it went Viral on social media that Interior Minister Angelina Teny, the wife to Dr. Machr was also placed underhouse arrest, a move Makuei refuted.

Government spokesperson Makuei expressed that Minister Angelina is moving to her office doing her normal duties.  

” Hon. Angelina Teny is actively engaged in her responsibilities and is not under arrest.” Makuei Said

Minister Makuei urged the public to cease social media misuse adding only few members of the opposition were arrested for investigation while others continue with their normal duties.

She added that although Minister Angelina Live in the same house with Dr. Machar, she always moves to her office and doing as duties without interruption.

South Sudan Government has confirmed the house arrest of the First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar.      
The leader of Sudan People Liberation Movement/Army in Opposition (SPLM/A-IO) was put under house arrest on Wednesday following series of confrontations by the army forces.
